Learning something new should surely be on your new year resolution list! Why not learn a new language? It will undoubtedly help you travel and connect with the locals, therefore here is a list of 5 languages you must learn in 2022 to help you not only communicate but also give your CV a boost!

Being multilingual isn't exceptional, but choosing unique languages will set you apart from the competition.

FRENCH

Although French is not a particularly difficult language to learn, it does provide numerous advantages. Learning French can lead to learning additional languages such as Italian, Spanish, and Catalan. It is also the second most useful language in the commercial sector, allowing you to access the global market.

SANSKRIT

I'm sure you're wondering why Sanskrit made the list, but here are a few facts you should know, and I'm sure you'll want to study this wonderful language. It is the world's oldest and purest language, having 70 synonyms for water and 100 names for elephants. It is also the only language in the world that can express a phrase in the fewest number of words. According to a NASA expert, America is developing 6th and 7th generation supercomputers based on the Sanskrit language. The project deadline for the sixth generation computer is 2025, and the target for the seventh generation computer is 2034.

This is a language you should acquire, especially if you want to trade with the gulf countries, as India's commercial ties with these countries are strengthening. You will be able to benefit financially. The Middle East is rich in natural resources, and speaking Arabic will provide you with numerous work chances. Learning Arabic and the culture of the people who speak the language will help you negotiate and do business more effectively. If you learn Arabic, you can be certain that there will be a high demand for your language abilities because supply is limited.

Learning Korean is analogous to learning French in that it opens the door to learning Japanese and shares some common words with the Chinese language. If you adore K-pop, learning Korean should be at the top of your priority list. Imagine watching movies without subtitles.

It is Europe's most widely spoken language. In fact, there are several words that are only found in German language.

LATIN

Originally spoken by small groups of people living along the lower Tiber River, Latin spread with the increase of Roman political power, first throughout Italy and then throughout most of western and southern Europe and the central and western Mediterranean coastal regions of Africa. Since it is not widely used, it is typically considered a dead language. Studying this language will make way to a variety of professional opportunities, including coaching this unique language, working as a Latinist, and interpreting.

Your Mother Tongue

Although foreign languages has a strong influence in our society, we have neglected to learn our regional languages. It's also vital to master them in order to save them from extinction. Furthermore, while we may be able to communicate in these languages, we must improve our command of them.
